LONDON (Reuters) - Competitors at the Eastbourne International will have to play back-to-back semi-final and final matches on Saturday after persistent rain washed out play at the Wimbledon warm-up event on Friday.
Australian seventh seed Samantha Stosur and France's Marion Bartoli, seeded sixth, never made it out of the locker room at a wet and windy Devonshire Park. The other semi will be between Petra Kvitova and Daniela Hantuchova.
The men's competition also faces a race against time to finish on Saturday. Wimbledon begins on Monday.
