Radford holds off a 2nd-half run to beat Texas A&M-CC 57-46

R.J. Price scored 21 points, Javonte Greene added 15 rebounds and Radford held off two second-half runs to beat Texas A&M-CC 57-46 in the division championship of the Corpus Christi Coastal Classic on Saturday.

The Highlanders held a 15-point lead at the break, but their cushion was cut to five after Corpus Christi went on a 15-2 run with 8:01 left to play. Radford fought back to a double-digit lead, 48-37, with 5:13 remaining.

Corpus Christi's Ehab Amin then made six-straight points to once again put the Islanders within five. Radford held the Islanders scoreless for the next 3:28 to clinch the victory.

Price had six of the Highlanders' final 11 points. Ya Ya Anderson scored 10 points, including three 3-pointers for Radford (4-3).

Amin led Corpus Christi (3-3) with 11 points and three steals, and was the only Islander to score in double figures.
