QPR stuns Chelsea at the Bridge
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Shaun Wright-Phillips scored a goal in the 78th minute to hand QPR a stunning 1-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
With just one win in its first 20 league games, QPR didn't figure to pose much a threat to a Chelsea side that had won three straight and seemed to be hitting its stride.
But QPR stayed level in the first half despite being outplayed and took advantage of a subpar Chelsea side to snatch three valuable points after the break.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Victor Moses went close for the home side before a header from Branislav Ivanovic skimmed the crossbar, keeping the match scoreless.
QPR began to slowly get into the game and the goal came 12 minutes from time as Adel Taarabt laid a ball off to Wright-Phillips, who drove home a first- time shot from outside the penalty area.
Chelsea was unable to produce an equalizer and sits in fourth place, 14 points adrift of leaders Manchester United, while QPR remains on the bottom of the league but is now only five points from safety.

Liverpool, England - Luis Suarez continued his dazzling form on Wednesday by scoring two goals and assisting on another in Liverpool's 3-0 win over Sunderland at Anfield.
Suarez helped set up the first goal in the 19th minute with a ball over the top for Raheem Sterling to chase down and lob over the head of goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The Uruguay international then found the net himself seven minutes later by powering past a Sunderland defender on the right wing and getting into the area before smashing a shot that was too hot to handle for Mignolet.
Suarez put the result out of reach in the 53rd when he scored following a nice long ball from Steven Gerrard to help Liverpool to its fifth win in seven matches.
Everton 2, Newcastle 1

On a day when Newcastle's leading scorer, Demba Ba, was busy finalizing a move to Chelsea, Papiss Cisse got the home side off to a great start when he netted his fourth goal of the campaign in the opening two minutes.
But Everton was back on level terms shortly before halftime thanks to a stunning free kick from Leighton Baines.
