Nashville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Nashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne has been assigned to the minors on a conditioning assignment, the latest step in his road to recovery from a hip infection.
Rinne will report to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals.
The 31-year-old Finn hasn't played for the Predators since late October. He had a 2.31 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage in nine games before undergoing surgery for the infection.
