Pratt wins playoff for Myanmar Open title

Australia's Kieran Pratt birdied the second playoff hole Sunday to earn his first Asian Tour title at the Myanmar Open.

Pratt bested Adam Blyth and Kiradech Aphibarnrat in the extra session at The Royal Mingalardon Golf & Country Club.

Pratt eagled the par-five 18th in regulation to polish off a four-under 68. Blyth fired a 65, while Aphibarnrat managed an even-par 72. The trio finished regulation at 15-under 273 and was back to the closing hole for sudden-death.

Aphibarnrat was eliminated on the first playoff hole when he couldn't make birdie. Pratt sank a 15-footer for birdie, while Blyth made a six-footer and the two were back to the par-five 18th.

Blyth drove into the water at the second extra hole. Pratt came up short of the green with his second and pitched his third to four feet. Blyth did well to save par, but it wasn't enough.

Pratt holed his birdie putt for the win.

Third-round leader Scott Hend struggled to a two-over 74 and shared fourth place with Arnond Vongvanij, who shot a five-under 67 on Sunday. The pair finished at 14-under 274, one shot out of the playoff.
