St. Louis Blues forward Chris Porter has signed a one-year contract extension, the club announced Monday.

Porter, a ninth-round pick by Chicago in the 2003 Entry Draft, has been part of the St. Louis organization since signing with the Blues as a free agent on Aug. 21, 2007. He split this past season between St. Louis and its AHL affiliate, Peoria, recording 3 goals and 7 points in 45 games for the Blues in addition to 9 goals and 20 points in 36 games for the Rivermen.

In 51 career NHL games, Porter has 4 goals and 9 points.
