Popovich says Parker out for 'foreseeable future'
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Santa Monica, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said Tuesday that point guard Tony Parker will be out "for the foreseeable future" due to "a variety of maladies."
Parker played a little over 11 minutes in Sunday's All-Star Game, finishing with four points and two rebounds. He previously sat out the Spurs' final game before the break to rest a sore lower back.
"He doesn't have a pulled hamstring or anything, but he's got a lot of little things," Popovich said. "Basically a lot of basketball the last three years, all season long, all summer long."

In 47 games this season, Parker has averaged 17.7 points and 6.2 assists.
