Phil Mickelson's week: FBI agents, birdies and bogeys, and onward toward US Open

Phil Mickelson ended his week at the Memorial on Sunday with one round under par, one visit from the FBI and lingering questions about an insider trading investigation.

One day after he Mickelson said he had done "absolutely nothing wrong" in the trading probe, he closed with a 1-over 73. He was so far out of contention that he was done about the time the leaders were starting.

A federal official briefed on the investigation told The Associated Press the FBI and Securities and Exchange Commission are analyzing trades Mickelson and Las Vegas gambler Billy Walters made involving Clorox at the same time activist investor Carl Icahn was attempting to take over the company.

Mickelson next goes to Memphis, his final tune-up before the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2.
