Person rescued from roof of new Minnesota Vikings stadium
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}MINNEAPOLIS -- Minneapolis firefighters used a rescue basket, ropes and cables to free a person trapped on the roof of the Minnesota Vikings stadium that's under construction.
Fire officials say the person who fell into a rooftop crevice about 8 a.m. Wednesday was injured, but has been stabilized.
The fire department tweeted that another person was earlier taken to a hospital, but did not say if that person had also been on the roof. The department did not describe the nature of either person's injuries.
