PITTSBURGH – The Pitt football team is prepping for life in the ACC.
The Panthers began training camp on Tuesday, eager to get to work after spending nearly two years waiting out the move from the Big East to the ACC.
Senior wide receiver Devin Street says he expects 2013 to be a "different journey" for the program. Pitt endured an up-and-down 6-7 season last fall under first-year coach Paul Chryst.
There are plenty of questions Chryst is hoping to find answers to over the next month. Senior Tom Savage appears to have the inside track at the starting quarterback job, though Chad Voytik is expected to get some time with the first string during camp.
Chryst says he will pick whoever is most comfortable in his offense.
The Panthers have less than four weeks to get ready for the ACC opener against Florida State on Labor Day night.
