Green Bay, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Green Bay Packers said Monday they will honor quarterback Brett Favre in a ceremony during their Thanksgiving night game against the rival Chicago Bears.
Favre, 45, will have his No. 4 retired on July 18 during the Packers Hall of Fame induction banquet. His name and jersey will unveiled on the facade at Lambeau Field during halftime on Nov. 26.
The record-setting quarterback spent 16 seasons with the Packers -- the bulk of his NFL career -- and led them to their first Super Bowl title in 29 years following the 1996 season.
