That didn't take long. One day after he was released by the Seahawks in a stunning move, the Green Bay Packers claimed running back Christine Michael, NFL Network reported Wednesday.
Michael was the Seahawks' leading rusher when the team unexpectedly cut him. The fifth-year back has 469 yards and six rushing touchdowns.
The 26-year-old's workload was cut dramatically after Seattle's Week 8 loss to the Saints, rushing for only 63 yards on 20 carries since that game.

The Packers have been hit hard by injuries at running back this season, losing starter Eddie Lacy to a season-ending ankle injury last month. Green Bay ranks 19th in rushing yards with an average of 102.4 yards per game.
