Indianapolis, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Indiana Pacers waived guard A.J. Price on Friday, after their second injury hardship relief exception expired.
The Pacers had signed Price on Nov. 6 to provide much-needed depth in the backcourt. He averaged 10.5 points, 2.7 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 10 games.
Price spent his first three seasons in the league with the Pacers. The 28- year-old signed with Washington prior to the 2012-13 campaign and played in 28 games with Minnesota last season, averaging 1.6 points.
He was signed by Cleveland in September but was waived by the Cavaliers on Nov. 1.
