INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana is trying to adapt to the Miami Heat's new wrinkle — using LeBron James in the post.
Coach Frank Vogel says they just need to just improve the execution.
Less than 24 hours after the Pacers lost their first home playoff game and fell into a 2-1 series deficit, Vogel walked into practice and told reporters that the Pacers need to do a better job on the ball, be more active on help defense and double-team the league's four-time MVP when he does try to run the offense from the inside.
It is a change from Vogel's usual man-to-man style, but if the Pacers are going to stick around in the Eastern Conference finals, they can't fool around with James. They have to win Tuesday night in Indy.
