Augsburg, Germany – Augsburg has completed the signing of midfielder Andreas Ottl after the former Hertha Berlin man inked a two-year contract.
The 27-year-old Ottl appeared in 27 Bundesliga matches last season for Hertha, which was relegated at the end of the season after losing a playoff against Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Ottl represented Germany at the Under-21 level and has featured in 135 Bundesliga games during his career, which includes stops at Bayern Munich, Nurnberg and Hertha.
