O'Quinn, Norfolk State beat Morgan State 76-74

Kyle O'Quinn scored 24 points and Norfolk State defeated Morgan State 76-74 on Saturday.
O'Quinn, who had 15 after halftime, teamed up with Rob Hampton to score 31 of the Spartans' 47 second-half points. Norfolk State (6-13, 4-4 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) led 29-27 at halftime and shot 68.2 percent in the second half (15 of 22) to snap a four-game losing skid to the Bears.
Norfolk State led 70-62 with 2:50 left, but the Bears scored six straight. Aric Brooks hit two free throws to make it 70-68 with 1:20 to play. Hampton then made a jumper and the Spartans went 4 of 6 from the free-throw line the rest of the way to seal it.

Hampton, who had 16 points in the second half, finished with 19. Pendarvis Williams added 15 and Aleek Pauline chipped in 11 for the Spartans.
Morgan State (9-9, 5-2), which had won four straight, was led by DeWayne Jackson with 19 points.
