Norman, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - Oklahoma guard Buddy Hield announced Friday that he will return for his senior season.
Hield was the Big 12 Player of the Year this past season after averaging 17.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists. He helped the Sooners reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in six years and said the team has "unfinished business."
Oklahoma finished 24-11 this past season, losing to Michigan State in the East Region semifinals.

"I just can't wait to see what's in store for next year. I want to go to the Final Four. That's always been a dream for me," Hield said at a press conference with coach Lon Kruger.
Getting his degree is also important to the Bahamas native.
"Very happy for Buddy," said Kruger. "He's meant so much to the program and obviously he wants to finish some business, get that degree and spend another year with his teammates and Sooner fans. He's a smart guy and understands this gives him a chance to continue to make great progress."
