NORMAN, Okla. – The Oklahoma-Kansas start time has been pushed back at least 90 minutes due to lightning.
An Oklahoma spokesman said the school consulted with meteorologists, and the decision was made to start the game no earlier than 12:30 p.m. Central, rather than the scheduled 11 a.m. start.
The spokesman said the school is trying to avoid stopping and starting, and is trying to fit the game in before another wave of anticipated storms hits.
