Norwich City manager Paul Lambert confirmed on Friday that the club will be without striker James Vaughan for several months because of a knee injury.
The 23-year-old limped off the field in the second half of his team's 2-1 defeat to Sunderland on Monday, and Lambert confirmed the bad news at his press conference prior to Saturday's trip to Manchester United.
"He is going to be out for a considerable time - it is his meniscus," Lambert said. "It is a blow because he has been looking really good and is going to be out for three or four months. He has had really bad luck with injuries."

Vaughan joined the Canaries from Everton over the summer after spending last season on loan with Crystal Palace, where he scored nine goals in 30 appearances.
