No. 20 Green Bay beats Loyola of Chicago 54-38 to win 3rd straight Horizon League championship

Sarah Eichler scored 16 points and Adrian Ritchie added 15 points as No. 20 Green Bay beat Loyola of Chicago 54-38 Sunday in the Horizon League tournament championship game.

It's Green Bay's third league tournament title in a row and the fifth straight year the team will compete in the NCAA tournament.

The Phoenix (29-2) have won 24 in a row. They beat Loyola twice during the regular season by an average of 14.5 points.

Green Bay went on an early 17-4 run as Ritchie, who broke the school record for 3-pointers made in a career, scored 10 points. The Phoenix led 34-17 at halftime.

The Phoenix made just 2 of 23 shots to start the second half, but Loyola (17-15) could only cut its deficit to 38-27 during Green Bay's 5½-minute shooting drought.

Simone Law led the Ramblers with 12 points and a career high-tying 14 rebounds.
