No. 2 Wisconsin throttles UAB

Nassau, Bahamas (SportsNetwork.com) - Frank Kaminsky had 16 points and eight rebounds and No. 2 Wisconsin took care of UAB, 72-43, in the opening round of the Battle 4 Atlantis.
Duje Dukan scored 11 points, Josh Gasser had 10 and Nigel Hayes finished with nine points, five rebounds and a game-high four assists for the Badgers (5-0).
Wisconsin, which has won every game this season by at least 24 points, will meet Georgetown in the semifinals.

Robert Brown was the lone bright spot for UAB (2-3), pouring in 16 points on 7-of-15 shooting.
Brown was the only Blazer to score nearly 16 minutes into the game. He had 11 on 5-of-9 shooting while the rest of the team was held scoreless until C.J. Washington's free throws at 4:07.
Meanwhile, all five Wisconsin starters had points, including 10 apiece for Kaminsky and Gasser, and the Badgers led 28-13.

Nick Horton beat the buzzer with a 3-pointer, but it only pulled UAB to within 20 at halftime.
Brown's triple at 13:58 made it 43-28, but the Badgers scored the next 13 points to pull away.
