No. 18 Wis-Green Bay women cruise past Ball State

Julie Wojta had 19 points and 12 rebounds as No. 18 Wisconsin-Green Bay beat Ball State 80-39 on Tuesday night.

Lydia Bauer added 14 points for the Phoenix (9-0). Megan Lukan and Breannah Ranger each scored 12 and Jenny Gilbertson added a career-high 10. Green Bay, (9-0), coming off a 12-day layoff, never trailed and built a 23-point halftime lead.

Ball State (5-7) was led by Shanee' Jackson's nine points. The Cardinals fell to 0-5 against Horizon League opponents this season.

The Phoenix have won 28 straight regular season games and can wrap up their second undefeated non-conference season in program history with a win at Wisconsin on Friday.
