No.1 Baylor remains perfect with rout of Missouri

Brittney Griner scored 18 points to go with ranked Baylor remained perfect with a 41 drubbing of Missouri on Wednesday.
Kimetria Hayden finished with 15 points and five assists and Odyssey Sims contributed 12 points for the Lady Bears (22-0, 9-0 Big 12). Destiny Williams donated 10 points and 11 boards in the victory.
BreAnna Brock and Sydney Crafton paced the Tigers (10-10, 0-9) with eight points and five rebounds apiece, while Liene Priede and Christine Flores netted seven points each. Missouri has lost nine consecutive games.

With the game tied at four early, the Lady Bears used a 16-2 run to take command of the game and a 20-6 lead with 5:34 to play in the first half. The Bears led 28-18 at the break.
Baylor dominated in the second half, outscoring the Tigers 43-23 while shooting 52.9 percent. The Bears locked down on defense as well, forcing Missouri into 11 turnovers in the half and just 29 percent shooting.
