The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft order was set after the Philadelphia Eagles' win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. On the eve of the official start of the new league year, the NFL announced the full order.
It's a big draft at the top, as stars like Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders offer teams hope at the quarterback position, while Travis Hunter's two-way play and Abdul Carter's ability to wreak havoc in the backfield are also enticing. Barring any trades, here's where every team will be picking in April:
The order for Rounds 2-7 can be found here.
The NFL Draft will take place from Thursday, April 24, 2025, through Saturday, April 26, 2025. Here is a breakdown by round:
The 2025 NFL Draft will take place in Green Bay, Wisconsin — home of the Packers. The draft will be held around Lambeau Field and Titletown campus.
The selection order is dictated by the reverse order of finish in the previous season. Each round starts with the team that finished with the worst record and ends with the Super Bowl champions, unless any trades have occurred. Teams that didn't make the playoffs are given draft slots 1-20.
In addition to this, up to a total of 32 compensatory picks are awarded to teams that lost significant free agents. These picks are made after the final seventh-round selection.
Some of the top prospects in this year's NFL Draft include Travis Hunter, Will Johnson, Shedeur Sanders and Ashton Jeanty. For more, check out our latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
