Manchester United defender Jonny Evans has signed a new contract with the club that keeps him at Old Trafford for a further four years.
Evans, 24, has appeared in 141 games for United during his Red Devils' career, including 10 starts in the league and two goals this season.
Evans has been an important piece to the United defense this term with regulars Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic struggling with injuries.

"Jonny has risen through the ranks to become an integral part of the first team squad," said United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
"He has developed into a top player for us and has scored a couple of important goals this season too. I am delighted he has signed a new contract."
The Northern Ireland international has come up through the youth ranks at United and made his debut in 2007 against Coventry.
