Brooklyn, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Brooklyn Nets signed free agent guard Darius Morris on Thursday.

Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Morris, 23, has been out of action this season after being waived by Portland at the end of training camp.

In 94 career games spent with the Lakers, 76ers, Clippers and Grizzlies, Morris is averaging 3.7 points and 1.5 assists in 12.4 minutes per game. The Michigan product was originally selected 41st overall by the Lakers in the 2011 NBA Draft.
