LINCOLN, Neb. – Two days after collapsing during a game, Nebraska women's basketball coach Connie Yori says her health is fine and she will be with the team at Ohio State on Thursday.
Yori said Tuesday she has been fighting a bacterial infection for a couple weeks and was dehydrated when she passed out in front of the Cornhuskers' bench in the second half of Sunday's game against Indiana.
Yori said she was surprised because she drinks a gallon of water every day. She said she received intravenous fluids and was examined at a hospital before being sent home.
She said she's proud of how her team responded after she fell ill. The 17th-ranked Huskers won 76-61.
