New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Los Angeles Clippers forward Glen Davis was fined $15,000 by the NBA on Tuesday for kicking a seat cushion into the stands during Sunday's game against Boston.
The incident occurred late in the fourth quarter after Boston's Gigi Datome made a 3-pointer and the Clippers called a timeout.
Davis walked to the sideline and kicked a seat cushion off one of the team chairs. The cushion sailed two rows deep into the stands and was caught by a woman whose quick reflexes likely saved the person sitting next to her from being struck in the face.
The playoff-bound Clippers won the game 119-106.
