Glasgow, Scotland (SportsNetwork.com) - Charlie Mulgrew salvaged a point for Celtic at Parkhead on Saturday as his late goal granted the club a 1-1 draw with Dundee United.
Stuart Armstrong had given United the lead in the 38th minute, a lead that the visitors held until the dying stages when Mulgrew netted his third Scottish Premier League goal of the season.
Celtic remains unbeaten in Premier League play this season, staying top of the table by improving to 27 points and moving 10 points clear of sixth-place Dundee United.
St. Johnstone took advantage of Dundee United's draw by picking up a 2-0 win at Hearts on Saturday. Nigel Hasselbaink and Steve May scored on opposite sides of halftime to secure the victory, sending the club to 18 points through 12 matches.
Inverness, meanwhile, cut Celtic's lead atop the table down to five points with a 2-1 defeat of Kilmarnock. Aaron Doran and Graeme Shinnie netted the goals for the second-place side while Darren Barr pulled back a consolation goal for Killie.
