Mizzou's 2017-18 season just keeps looking better and better.

Already having landed the top recruit in the nation in Michael Porter Jr., new Tigers coach Cuonzo Martin added another highly rated recruit in forward Jeremiah Tilmon of East St. Louis, Ill. -- the city Martin also calls home.

Tilmon is ranked among the nation'sTop 50 recruits by ESPN, Rivals.com, Scout.com and 247 Sports. The 6-foot-10, 235-pounder averaged 15.3 points, 11.0 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game as a senior at East St. Louis High last season. Tilmon was named to the all-state first team bythe Illinois Basketball Coaches Association and Associated Press.

"It's truly exciting to keep a young man like Jeremiah at home with Mizzou basketball," Martin said. "Jeremiah, as a player and person, possesses the type of skill and presence we'd like to become a staple of this program. We feel that he has the ability to become a game-changing presence on both ends of the floor."

Tilmon joins a '17 class that includes Porter (Columbia, Mo.), Blake Harris (Chapel Hill, N.C.), C.J. Roberts (North Richland Hills, Texas) and Kassius Robertson (Toronto, Ontario).
