St. Paul, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Minnesota Wild defenseman Jonas Brodin is out indefinitely with a broken cheekbone.

Brodin was hit by a dump-in in the first period of Tuesday's game against Nashville. A timetable for his return will be announced once it is determined.

The 20-year-old Brodin has three goals and three assists in 10 games this season. He had two goals and nine assists in 45 games last season.
