The New York Mets made several roster moves on Sunday, placing closer Frank Francisco on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 23, with a left oblique strain, and reinstating infielder Ruben Tejada and pitcher Ramon Ramirez off the 15-day disabled list.

Francisco has appeared in 31 games for the Mets this season, pitching to a 1-3 record with a 4.97 earned run average and 18 saves in 21 opportunities.

Tejada was hitting .305 with 10 doubles, eight RBI and 14 runs scored through 27 games before being placed on the DL on May 7 with a right quad strain.

Ramirez has been on the shelf since May 31 with a strained right hamstring. He has a 2-1 record with a 4.78 earned run average in 22 games for the Mets this season.

New York also optioned infielder Jordany Valdespin to Triple-A Buffalo.
