New York Mets left fielder Jason Bay left in the second inning of Friday's 7-3 loss against the Cincinnati Reds after crashing into the wall.

The inning started with a long fly ball to the left from Jay Bruce. Bay tried to track down the ball, but it landed just out of his reach as he dove and crashed into the wall.

Bruce came all the way home on an inside-the-park home run and Bay eventually had to be helped off the field. He was replaced by Scott Hairston.

The team announced during the game that Bay possibly suffered a concussion on the play.

Bay has already missed significant time this season as he was on the disabled list from April 24 till June 6 with a fractured left rib.

On the season, Bay is batting just .187 with four home runs and six RBI through 22 games.
