London, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Per Mertesacker and Tomas Rosicky have signed new deals at Arsenal, the Premier League club revealed Tuesday.

"We are delighted that Mertesacker and Rosicky have committed their futures to the club," Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said. "They are players of exceptional quality and experience, and have consistently proven themselves at the highest level.

"There is a great feeling of togetherness and belief in the group and this news will only help to strengthen this further."

Mertesacker, who joined from Werder Bremen in 2011, has formed a strong defensive partnership with Laurent Koscielny, while Rosicky, who joined from Borussia Dortmund in 2006, has played a key role in Arsenal's title bid this season.

Arsenal has not confirmed the length of the deals, but it has been reported that Rosicky has agreed to a one-year rolling contract while Mertesacker has committed to the club until 2017.
