McClanahan sinks late free throws as Texas-Arlington edges Grand Canyon 66-64.

Lonnie McClanahan had 19 points, four rebounds, and the game-sealing free-throws to lead Texas-Arlington to a 66-64 win over Grand Canyon on Thursday night.
Johnny Hill finished with 11 points and three rebounds on 4-of-9 shooting for Texas-Arlington (2-1 Sun Belt). McClanahan hit 11 of 13 free throws, with five of the makes coming in the final 2 minutes.
Jermone Garrison had 23 points and four rebounds and Royce Woolridge added 10 points for the Antelopes (1-2 Western Athletic Conference).

With Texas-Arlington up by five with 2:21 remaining, Daniel Alexander hit a three to bring Grand Canyon within two (63-61). After trading a pair of free throws, Garrison made 1 of 2 free throws and the Antelopes trailed 65-64. McClanahan hit a free throw to put the Mavericks up by two with 18 seconds to play.
Grand Canyon had a chance to tie, but Garrison missed two free throws with 2 seconds to go.
