LSU S Reid to enter NFL Draft

LSU safety Eric Reid announced Friday he will forgo his final season of eligibility and enter the 2013 NFL Draft.
The junior was a first-team All-America selection in 2012, racking up 91 tackles, seven passes defensed and two interceptions while starting all 13 games for an LSU defense that ranked among the best in the nation.
"I've been very fortunate and blessed to have been able to play football at LSU," Reid said through the school. "It was always my dream to go to LSU and play football. After careful consideration and talking with my family, I feel like this is the right time to make this decision."

Over his three-year career in Baton Rouge, Reid compiled 194 tackles and six interceptions in 39 games (29 starts) and helped the Tigers to at least 10 wins in all three seasons, including a 13-1 mark in 2011 that culminated in a 21-0 loss to Alabama in the BCS National Championship Game.
