NEW YORK (Reuters) - Hall of Famers Ronnie Lott and John Madden have been named co-chairs of a new NFL player safety advisory panel, commissioner Roger Goodell said Tuesday.
The panel will provide recommendations on a variety of safety-related football matters to Goodell, the NFL said in a statement.
It also will take a long-term look at making the game safer for players at all levels of the sport.
