Logano claims pole for Chicagoland Nationwide race

Joey Logano will start on the pole for Saturday's Dollar General 300 Nationwide Series race after topping the qualifying charts at Chicagoland Speedway.
Logano turned a lap at 178.012 mph for his fourth pole of the season and the 20th of his Nationwide career. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver has the most wins in the series this season with six. He has one victory at this 1.5-mile racetrack, which came in July 2009.
Rookie Austin Dillon grabbed the outside pole with a lap at 177.649 mph. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. qualified third, followed by Sam Hornish Jr. and Elliott Sadler, the current points leader. Sadler holds only a one-point advantage over Stenhouse.

Kyle Busch, Paul Menard, Michael Annett, Mike Bliss and Justin Allgaier will start sixth through 10th, respectively. Danica Patrick qualified 12th.
All 43 drivers who attempted qualifying made the starting lineup for the 300- mile race, which is scheduled to start just after 3:30 p.m. (ET).
