One day before the European Solheim Cup team is announced, the United States team took the top five spots on the leaderboard at the Canadian Women's Open.
Stacy Lewis, the Kraft Nabisco champion, fired a five-under 67 to share second place with third-round co-leader Michelle Wie at minus-12. Wie, who won this event last year at St. Charles Country Club, closed with an even-par 72.
Cristie Kerr (71) and Angela Stanford (72) tied for fourth at 11-under 277.
Tiffany Joh and Ai Miyazato shared the third round lead with Wie, but both struggled on Sunday. Joh tripped to a four-over 76 to share 12th at minus- eight, while Miyazato was one stroke worse with a final-round 77.
The final round tee times were moved up so that the event could finish before the remnants of Hurricane Irene hit the area.
