Lawyer says Pryor's license reinstated

The lawyer for Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor confirmed Thursday that the player's driving privileges have been reinstated after he showed proof that he was insured.

Officials at the Ohio Department of Public Safety said Wednesday that Pryor's driving privileges in the state had been suspended because he failed to produce proof of insurance when pulled over for a stop-sign violation on Feb. 19.

Pryor's attorney, Larry James, said Thursday Pryor had since shown proof he had insurance. James said he had a copy of the insurance policy that was in place at the time of the stop.

Pryor and his cars are a part of the NCAA's investigation of violations at Ohio State, The Columbus Dispatch has reported. Coach Jim Tressel was forced to resign on Monday.
