Late push sees Evian over Guingamp

Annecy, France (SportsNetwork.com) - Evian scored twice inside the final 31 minutes to collect a 2-0 home victory over lowly Guingamp on Sunday.
The hosts were held in check until the 59th minute when Daniel Wass broke through for the opening goal.
Guingamp pushed for an equalizer but was punished in the 81st minute as Nicki Bille Nielsen made sure of the victory for Evian with his first goal of the Ligue 1 season.

Evian climbs out of the relegation zone by improving to 16 points, four points better than last-place Guingamp.
Also on Sunday, Bordeaux claimed a 1-0 victory over Lille behind a 62nd-minute goal from Cheick Diabate and St. Etienne received goals from three different sources in a commanding 3-0 defeat of Lyon.
