Last call: No. 23 Pitt faces familiar face in final Big East game

Pittsburgh hosts Villanova its final home Big East game on Sunday, but the 23rd-ranked Panthers say they're more focused on prepping for the postseason than getting nostalgic.

Pitt (22-7, 10-6 Big East) is trying to secure a double-bye in the conference tournament in two weeks. A loss would almost certainly end those hopes but coach Jamie Dixon says he's pleased with how his team is playing.

The Panthers have won two straight and beat Villanova by 15 on the road two months ago. The teams have been playing since 1960 and the series is tied at 32 wins apiece. Sunday's meeting will be the last for the foreseeable future. Neither Dixon or Villanova coach Jay Wright have talked about keeping the rivalry going when Pitt joins the ACC next season.
