For the second straight game, Kent State (39-25) fell behind 15-1 but scored eight runs in the sixth inning before losing.

Christian Bergman (9-3) was pulled after five scoreless innings in order to come back Sunday as a possible starter. David Starn (7-3) took the loss after giving up seven runs in three innings.
