Kiapway hits back-to-back treys late, helps Ball State pull away from Indiana State 70-63

Francis Kiapway hit back-to-back 3-pointers with less than two minutes remaining to help Ball Sate pull away and beat Indiana State 70-63 on Saturday.
Brenton Scott drained a trey with 1:50 to go to give Indiana State a 61-60 lead before Kiapway made two 3-pointers. The Cardinals were 4 of 6 from the line to seal it.
Matt Kamieniecki scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Ball State (3-3). Zavier Turner had three treys and finished with 15 points and six assists. Bo Calhoun had 13 points and Kiapway chipped in 11 for the Cardinals.

Justin Gant scored 16 points and Khristian Smith had 15 to lead Indiana State (3-5). The Sycamores had an eight-point lead at the break. Grant Prusator's 3-pointer made it 56-52 with 4:53 to play.
