Omaha, NE – Wednesday's College World Series game between Kent State and South Carolina has been postponed until Thursday at noon (et) due to rain.
The postponement creates in a sense a tripleheader at TD Ameritrade Park.
South Carolina, the two-time defending champions, or the Golden Flashes, who eliminated top-seeded Florida, will be ousted in the opener. The winner will move on to take on Arkansas on Thursday night at 9 p.m. (et).
Four hours prior to the nightcap, Florida State battles Arizona. The Seminoles need to win to stay alive in the tournament.
