Juventus set to sign Dutch winger Elia

Netherlands winger Eljero Elia has left his national team to undergo a medical with Juventus, opening the door to a switch from Hamburg to the Italian side.

Elia, 24, has made 24 appearances for his country and has been a standout for Hamburg in the Bundesliga. Hamburg disclosed Tuesday Elia has left the Holland camp to travel to Italy, although no deal between the clubs has been sealed.
