Johnson to meet with Titans Wednesday

Holdout running back Chris Johnson is set to meet with Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Reinfeldt and agent Joel Segal on Wednesday.

Johnson tweeted the news on Tuesday, saying, "Flying out to Nashville tonight to meet with Joel and the GM in the morning to see which way were going. Could get better or worst"

Johnson still has two years left on his original contract, and Reinfeldt told Sirius Radio the team was willing to alter his contract to make him the highest-paid running back in the history of the NFL.

But Johnson has missed all of training camp, and the Tennessean reported he is seeking a contract that will make him one of the game's highest-paid players.

Johnson has totaled more than 1,000 yards rushing in each of his three NFL seasons, including 2,006 in 2009.
