Sean Johnson came off the bench to score 19 points as Duquesne handed Norfolk State its 10th straight loss, 95-73, on Sunday.

Johnson scored nine points in the final 7:01 of the first half, when the Dukes (7-5) widened their lead from 25-22 to 43-28.

B.J. Monteiro's three-point play gave Duquesne a 52-30 lead with 16:08 left in the game, and the Dukes led by at least 20 points the rest of the way.

Duquesne held a huge advantage in free throws, making 36 of 45 — including 9 of 9 by Johnson — to 13 of 14 for the Spartans (1-11). Norfolk State starters Kyle O'Quinn and Rob Hampton fouled out and three other Spartans had four fouls.

Damian Saunders added 14 points, Bill Clark 13 and Monteiro 11 for Duquesne.

Pendarvis Williams scored 16 points and O'Quinn had 15 points and nine rebounds for Norfolk State, which has not played at home since Nov. 30.
