Jets coach Rex Ryan says it was a "bush league" play by Pittsburgh Steelers safety Mike Mitchell to leap over the offensive line while New York was in its victory formation Sunday.
In the final seconds of the Jets' 20-13 win at MetLife Stadium, Vick took a knee to run out the clock — but Mitchell launched himself at the line of scrimmage, likely trying to cause a fumble, and center Nick Mangold flung him to the turf.
Players on both sides pushed and shoved each other after the play, which Mangold called "dirty" after the game. The Jets took one more knee to end the game.

During a conference call Monday, Ryan says he was "surprised" and "disappointed" by the move by Mitchell.
