Jets add Goodson, re-sign Hilliard

The New York Jets have signed running back Mike Goodson and also re-signed fullback Lex Hilliard.
Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Goodson spent the 2012 campaign with Oakland after playing his first three NFL seasons with Carolina. He has averaged 4.5 yards per carry, rushing for 722 yards on 160 attempts in 40 games, and is a threat as a receiver with 59 catches for 524 yards.

In addition, the Texas A&M product has averaged 21.8 yards on 92 kickoff returns.
Hilliard started nine of the 12 games he played for the Jets last season and rushed for 31 yards on eight carries while catching four passes for 23 yards. He spent his first three NFL seasons with Miami and appeared in two games last season for New England before signing with the Jets as a free agent.
In 62 games, the Montana product has run for 163 yards with two touchdowns and has 30 catches for 233 yards with a pair of scores.
